Vikki L. Cruz
Vikki Cruz is a painter living in Los Angeles. She works primarily from direct observation, exploring the beauty in everyday objects. Vikki paints with a simple and delicate hand and focuses attention on the intricacies of subjects she explores around the home.
Vikki is a Bakersfield native who attended Bakersfield College, before graduating from UC Berkeley, where she studied art history and studio art. She owned and operated her own gallery and was the Curator of the Bakersfield Museum of Art before moving to Los Angeles to accept a position with the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. She currently splits her time between Bakersfield and L.A.
