Sara Drennan
Sara Drennan is a California based artist. She spends most of her time split between working in
her studio with her little dog named Zeus and out of her studio painting murals.
In her newest body of work, Sara paints portraits of strong female skateboarders intricately
paired with colorful backgrounds and subtle symbology. She likes to explore the role of women
in sub-culture and the continued influence they have.
When Sara is not art-making, you can find her teaching art, hiking in the Sierras, and
skateboarding.
