My work is inspired from the natural world. Growing crystals in the glaze is quite the amazing journey. Each piece is unique and the “Crystals float in the matrix and deposit themselves where they like too, growing like they would in a cave over a thousand years. The size and color is created by me in the formulation of the glaze and the firing schedule. Multiple firings are done in order to achieve the look I desire. My goal is always to make the most amazing contrast between the background color and having the “Crystals” have multiple shapes and colors within. Thank you to all of my collectors for joining me on this timeless journey, creating energetic forms with bespoke color combinations that mirror colors found in the earth’s minerals.
