Larry Jason
The subject matter of Larry Jason‘s paintings are things that you see every day. He uses photography of signs and buildings, automobiles, portraits and clothing. Larry achieved his style by enlarging his photographs and transferring the image to a silk screen. When printed on a canvas he paints over the silhouette.
With a BA degree in art from CSU Northridge and an MA degree from CSU Bakersfield, Larry is inspired by artist Picasso, Andy Warhol and David Hockney. Jason has shown his work across the state of California including Bakersfield, Fresno, Santa Monica,Long Beach and Pasadena.
