Kelly Wonderly
Artist Kelly Wonderly was born in Niagara Falls, New York and after
living in several cities and states, has resided in Bakersfield since
1966.
Kelly works primarily in acrylic painting but also works in oil paint, printing, drawing, sculpting, book making, map making, cartooning and animation.
Kelly can find inspiration in light and shadow, experiences and memories or a great piece of cardboard. She is motivated by the idea that fear is the enemy of creativity. Fear of others’ opinions, fear of your own opinion. She says “Squeeze out paint, make a mess, make mistakes and keep going. “
