Jackie Baxton
Jackie’s work is influenced by the natural world which she is submerged in. For her Ranching and art go hand in hand. Her material use is vast; from metals, glass, leather, wood, and taxidermy. Which all tie into both worlds of ranching and art. All of her work references the experiences living and working in a rural part of Mariposa county. When she is not creating art jackie is off ranching, riding horses, or out Barrel Racing.
She also teaches metal smithing at a community college in San Jose and to probation youth in Mariposa county.
