A self-proclaimed Lost Boy, Found.
At less than 5 years old, he was transplanted from his secluded tropical paradise in Mexico to the heart of the San Fernando Valley, the Historic Lankershim, aka North Hollywood. Growing up surrounded by the movie industry and fueled by his love of music, he set out with dreams of pop stardom, only to discover a diverse range of artistic talents in the process.
From accolades in creative writing at a Language Arts Academy to self-taught music production, graphic design, professional dancing, acting, makeup artistry, and business management, his journey has been a colorful tapestry that seems to grow only more vibrant, elaborate, and intricate in his wake.
He grew up immersed in theatre and the arts, going on to become a Production Assistant for the Southern California Children’s Theater, a Hair Model for Hairdreams, and Talent Manager for The Realm Dance Company.
Engaging with the public from a very early age, and after unintentionally transitioning into retail management, he acquired a wealth of experiences and an invaluable skill-set.
“At 36, I’m not a pop star, but I’ve embraced the knowledge and drive to become an artist in my own right and an entrepreneur to boot! My jewelry-making journey began as a creative outlet, evolving into a vibrant artistic expression. Using an array of materials, I craft creations that fulfill me in my heart and soul and that push me and challenge my creative limits.
Each piece is like a song with a backstory and rhythm all its own, often inspired by songs themselves. From my indie favorites like Ani Difranco to the Pop Princess Britney Spears, I find music to be a deeply emotional journey, and sometimes I am moved and influenced to translate it into my jewelry and graphic designs.” – Cristian
