Brown Baer Pottery is the work of Justin Brown and Samuel Baer. All our work is handmade from our home studio in Jamestown California.
What started out as an art class that Sam had to pass transformed into a full-fledged passion. As Justin learned more, and his understanding of ceramics grew, Justin also became interested in ceramics. While Sam’s primary focus was wheel throwing, Justin’s interests lie in hand building.
Over the years we have each grown into our own as ceramicists. However, there is always more to learn, and we are continuously humbled by the skills and creativity of other artists.
