Barbara Eberhart
Barbara Eberhart is known for her large scale florals in her softly blended oil paint technique. Her passion is to bring joy and beauty to her collectors and students through her artwork and classes. She believes in art as a spiritual experience that nourishes the soul.
Barbara earned her BFA from California State University, Sacramento before moving to Hawaii, where she lived for 32 years. There she was awarded the State Acquisition Award where her work was purchased for Hawaii’s permanent collection. She’s been in numerous solo and group exhibits, commissions and awards while living there.
In 2014, Barbara relocated back to her home state of California and loves creating paintings that depicts the California flora and fauna. Not surprisingly, her work has taken on new directions, becoming more surreal and even abstract with new pouring and splashing techniques she’s creating. What joy art brings to us!
