Susan van der Veen
Susan van der Veen has always believed there is something more to learn and there are new ways to grow. During her professional career and now during her retirement, she has enjoyed a variety of interests and occupations. Most of her endeavors have been in teaching, counseling and other helping professions. Throughout her life she has been a maker of things, talks, events, and lately visual art. Susan has always had a special affinity for teens and young adults and their zestful confidence in living their lives on their own terms. These cards, written and developed during the pandemic of 2020, are a salute to her oldest grandchildren as they speed into young adulthood and an encouragement to young adults everywhere who work at self discovery.
